Scarborough, ME – DJ Shaw and the Precision JLM Racing team traveled to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway this past weekend for the Pro All Stars Series 150 lap event. With just three races left on the schedule, the team turned in a good performance to put them right back in the thick of the points battle. After a poor starting spot, Shaw charged up to finish third behind a wild finish between eventual winner Garrett Hall and Ben Rowe that saw the two drivers wrecking at the finish line. After starting deep in the field in the ninth position for his heat race, Shaw charged up to finish fourth and gets himself a 15th starting position for the 150 lap feature event. From the start, the race proved to be a challenging one for all 31 drivers in the field, and it all started with a huge wreck on lap eight that took out a dozen cars and left Shaw with front end damage to his #60 Precision JLM Chevrolet. The Dale Shaw Racecars crew went to work and fixed the damage as best they could, and Shaw went back to work. Working his way through the field, and through the cautions, Shaw found himself back in the top five by the races halfway point. Shaw fought with Garrett Hall for the race lead at many points in the race after the halfway point and chased down Hall for the win. After a late race yellow with just two laps to go, Shaw lined up second and slid in to third behind Hall and Rowe as the field circled to the white flag and held on to the third spot to the finish. With just two races remaining, the Precision JLM Racing team will be headed to their home track of White Mountain Motorsports Park, where Shaw and the team struggled a year ago to an eleventh place finish after blistering tires throughout the event on their way to the 2016 championship.  Shaw now sees himself 75 points behind Glen Luce in the points standings, and the team will be looking to perfect the final two races in their bid for another title. Racing on Saturday starts at 6:00PM.
