Oxford, ME – DJ Shaw and the Precision JLM Racing team captured their second Pro All Stars Series North Championship in three years on Saturday with a hard fought sixth place finish at Oxford Plains Speedway.  The team  showed consistency all season long, as they lead the series with seven top five finishes and an astounding 13 top tens in 15 races.  After the race, Shaw was excited to be crowned a two time champion of the series. “I would have liked to have been up front contending for the win, but we did what we needed to do,” Shaw said. “We had to play it safe today, but still had a strong car overall. I can't thank all of our great partners and crew members for making this championship a reality. It may take a day or so to sink in.” Shaw started his heat race in second and being conservative he finished in the third position, giving him a 13th starting spot for the 150 lap feature event.  In the feature event, Shaw moved into the top ten early before the first caution on lap eight, but after that it was a struggle for the #60 team as they fell back 11th before the next yellow flag finally flew at lap 122.  Shaw sat in the 11th position on the next restart, and Shaw was able to get back to the ninth position and held there.  On the final lap however, a scramble between cars ahead of Shaw allowed him to leap past them and finish the race in the sixth position. DJ Shaw and the Precision JLM Racing team finish the 2016 Pro All Stars Series North season with a win,  seven top fives  and 13 top tens and the series championship in 15 starts.  The team would like to thank all of their great partners for their support in the 2016 season, Precision JLM, Dale Shaw Racecars, H&K Powersports, Brown’s Auto Body, Modern Ventures Ltd, Mulkern Excavating, Craig Equipment and JBJ Machine.  They would also like to thank all of their fans for their continued support.  The Precision JLM Racing team has one more event left in the 2016 season, as they head to the New London-Waterford Speedbowl on October 22nd for the Granite State Pro Stocks season finale.
